Supervisory Special Agent Matt Tootle will present a "Terrorist Financing Case Study". SSA Tootle is currently the Unit Chief of the Enterprise Operations Center Unit at Redstone Arsenal. He began his FBI career in 2006, after serving 5 years with the Knoxville Police Department. Throughout his FBI career, SSA Tootle worked various violations, including violent crime, white collar crime, public corruption, and counterterrorism. Additionally, SSA Tootle supervised the Birmingham division complex financial crimes squad and served as Crisis Management Coordinator, Behavioral Analysis Unit Coordinator, and Threat Management Coordinator. In his role as Threat Management Coordinator, SSA Tootle worked with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and private sector partners to employ threat assessment and threat management capabilities to mitigate threats of targeted violence. In July 2024, SSA Tootle was promoted to Chief of the FBI’s Enterprise Operations Center Unit located on Redstone Arsenal.
